Territory, Language and Distributed Attention

Territory in this pack is not only geographical. It is also lexical, perceptual and infrastructural: a distribution of attention across words, images, channels and sites. The selected nodes move between urban questions, moving images, conceptual operators, historical records and research platforms. Their juxtaposition shows how naming can delimit a field just as architecture delimits space, and how attention can be routed through an index as deliberately as movement through a city. DOI anchors stabilise specific concepts, while blogs retain the situated texture of ongoing thought. Medium and Substack widen circulation without replacing the internally controlled ecology of the original URLs. Older nodes introduce temporal depth and resist the tendency of digital interfaces to privilege only the latest layer. Together, the twenty positions construct a provisional territory in which language becomes spatial practice and reading becomes navigation. The pack does not ask for continuous linear attention; it permits entry at multiple points, allowing the reader to move between theory, project, image and memory while the original numbering preserves the larger topography.

Anto Lloveras is a Spanish architect, conceptual artist and researcher working at the intersection of philosophy, epistemology and urban culture. His Socioplastics project organises fifteen years of self-produced texts, videos, exhibitions and archives into a machine-legible field. Taxidermy I and Purple Legs exemplify his method of urban reanimation: fragments, bodies and neglected materials are transformed into perceptual instruments rather than static representations. Founder of LAPIEZA-LAB, Lloveras combines critical theory with experimental practice, examining how cities metabolise memory, conflict and symbolic form. His broader research engages relational ontology, semiotics, cultural infrastructure and the politics of public visibility.
